HVAC/Electrical Technician

1st shift: 6am -2:30pm (Sun-Thu)

$35-45 BOE

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated HVAC/Electrical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining various mechanical systems, including HVAC systems, air handling units, and more. This position requires expertise in electrical systems and hands-on experience with PLCs and VFDs. The shift for this role is Sunday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair air handling units, exhaust fans, fume hoods, and fan coil units.

+ Troubleshoot customer service calls to ensure temperature comfort inside buildings.

+ Maintain accurate system documentation and provide limited support for new installation projects.

+ Complete necessary hazard assessments.

Essential Skills

+ Heavy electrical knowledge.

+ Experience with PLCs and VFDs.

+ Universal EPA certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Vocational degree program with technical courses related to the field preferred.

+ Minimum of 3 years field experience with trade school training, or 6 years total field experience.

+ HVAC license.

+ EPA certification.

+ Driver's license.

+ Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

+ Proficiency in general computer skills, including email and internet.

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Office Suite.

+ Ability to use handheld electronic devices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
