Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description
Join a dedicated team at a full manufacturing facility specializing in asphalt maintenance equipment. Our advanced machinery heats, stores, transports, and applies various asphaltic materials essential for maintaining roadways.
Responsibilities
+ Perform fabrication and welding operations for large hoppers and tanks, ensuring leakproof processes according to documented manufacturing procedures and prints.
+ Set up and operate Axcess 40v wire feeder and Axcess 300 pulse welder.
+ Weld tank and hopper walls using MIG and Pulse practices.
+ Utilize jigs and fixtures for a majority of day-to-day operations.
+ Self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before advancing them to the next step in the fulfillment process.
Essential Skills
+ MIG pulse welding experience.
+ Ability to complete the entire welding process.
+ Proficiency with blueprints and MIG welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and blueprints.
+ Capability to perform basic structural weld joints such as T, Lap, Corner to corner, and Butt.
+ Skilled in MIG and Pulse welding procedures and operations, with some TIG experience.
+ Ability to consistently produce aesthetically acceptable welds finished to company expectations.
+ Competence in consistently welding to leak-proof standards, including open tank, closed tank, and hot oil leakproof testing.

This is a Contract position based out of North Branch, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
