    Job Title: IS Technical Specialist III (Senior) – Oracle Developer

     

    Service Type: 13-Week Contract to Hire

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled IS Technical Specialist III with expertise in Oracle development to join our team on a temporary basis. This senior-level role involves providing technical and consultative support, developing and maintaining Oracle-based systems, and contributing to strategic technology initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.

    + Provide technical assistance for hardware and software issues.

    + Utilize advanced technical tools for systems development and support.

    + Stay current with industry trends and apply relevant knowledge to projects.

    + Mentor junior staff and assist in identifying training needs.

    + Lead specific projects and ensure successful delivery.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).

    + Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

    + At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials and related Oracle technologies.

    + Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

    + Experience with SQL Loader, BI Publisher, XML, and Unix shell scripting.

    + Oracle APEX development experience.

    + Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and JDeveloper.

    + Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and event-driven development.

    + Experience integrating Oracle EBS with SaaS applications (e.g., Salesforce).

    + Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.

    + Ability to work effectively in a multi-platform environment.

    + Capable of balancing development and support responsibilities.

    + Experience collaborating with cross-functional business segments.
