    Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Administrator to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado. As a key member of the Human Resources department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This is a Contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to efficient payroll operations and employee satisfaction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately input payroll data into the company’s payroll system while adhering to strict deadlines.

    • Process payroll for employees, including calculating wages, managing tax deductions, and issuing payments through direct deposits or checks.

    • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring accuracy in hours worked, overtime, and deductions.

    • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors promptly by collaborating with employees and HR professionals.

    • Ensure payroll procedures comply with federal and state tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and labor laws.

    • Provide clear and precise communication to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.

    • Utilize payroll software and tools to streamline processes and maintain secure, confidential records.

    • Monitor and implement best practices for payroll administration to improve efficiency and accuracy.

    • Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

    • Deliver exceptional customer service to employees by addressing payroll concerns with professionalism and empathy. Requirements • Strong attention to detail to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

    • Proficiency in time management to meet strict payroll processing deadlines.

    • Excellent communication skills to effectively share payroll-related information with employees and stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll issues.

    • Basic knowledge of federal and state tax laws, wage and hour laws, and labor regulations.

    • Familiarity with payroll software and systems to manage data entry and processing.

    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

    • Ability to provide outstanding customer service while addressing employee concerns.
