    Role Overview

     

    Kodak is looking for a Contract Sales Support Specialist to join our Specialty Chemicals and Inks Manufacturing team in Rochester, NY.

     

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Contract Sales Support Specialist. In this role, you will be in the front line of communication with our customers, coordinating with operations, ensuring accurate order processing and supporting our business development team. This position requires the ability to multi-task, as well as organize and manage all forms of requests while providing excellent service to our customers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain and correspond with customers in a professional and timely manner on behalf of the company by email and phone

    • Custom products. Work directly with and support Project Managers to assist with managing custom product portfolio and make to order sales.

    • Set up customers in SAP, work directly with customers for appropriate information input. Submit CMR requests, Price Letters, Request sales orders

    • Contract manufacturing. Lead to order process. Work directly with Production Planners and Warehouse team to communicate product availability and delivery dates to customers

    • Process orders, monitor progress, and follow through with delivery

    • Maintain tracking for all sales orders, including creation of C of A's and communicating delivery tracking information to customers

    • Provide customer service after the sale

    • Track orders accurately and efficiently using SAP and Microsoft Excel programs

    • Assist new item set up to allow correct planning parameters and order placement.

    • Manage customer sample requests

    REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

    • 5+ years of customer service, planning or manufacturing experience

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills

    • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP systems (SAP)

    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • A strong desire to win. Manufacturing is challenging and competitive. In this role, you are an advocate for the customer, and you must have a very strong desire to meet customer needs
