    This position provides the financial leadership for the company's North America GTM (Go To Market) and CTM (Cooperative Trade Marketing) processes representing $268 million and $1.3 billion USD respectively in marketing spend annually. The Director leads a team of 2 KO associates and provides support to the Managed Service Provider's (MSP) extended teams.

     

    Provides strategic and finance direction, policy interpretation, and operational decision making to sales and finance, as well as cultivates and maintains relationships with business clients. Provides guidance and training as well as oversight/performance management in the administration and handling of North America GTM/CTM processes and systems. In addition, it is incumbent upon the role to ensure financial controls are being met in the management of trade spend, accruals and fall out. Manage and oversee all financial forecasting, planning, analysis, and accrual processes related to the GTM/CTM processes.

     

    Success will be defined by the achievement of specific goals (ex., accuracy, timeliness, automation), as well as ensuring accurate financial controls and processes.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide leadership and direction for all aspects related to the North America GTM/CTM process.

    + Develop and implement strategic Go To Market and cooperative trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with partners to enhance market presence and drive sales.

    + Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align trade marketing strategies with company objectives and sales targets.

    + Oversee the settlement and deductions management process to ensure proper tracking, validation, resolution, and reporting of all trade-related deductions and discrepancies.

    + Establish and manage effective relationships with key cooperative and trade partners to leverage joint marketing opportunities.

    + Analyze and report on the effectiveness of cooperative trade marketing campaigns, and make recommendations for future campaigns.

    + Manage the cooperative trade marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

    + Develop processes to reduce invalid deductions and improve the speed and accuracy of resolution.

    + Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to improve clarity and accuracy in trade promotions and deductions.

    + Train and manage a team of Go To Market and cooperative trade marketing and deductions staff, encouraging professional development and high performance.

    + Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to influence trade marketing and deductions strategies.

    + Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to predict future financial trends and business performance.

    + Oversee the accrual process to ensure that all financial transactions are recorded and reported accurately and timely.

    + Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders, suggesting actions based on financial insights.

    + Collaborate with various department heads to develop budgets and financial plans.

    + Conduct variance analysis to identify gaps between actual and forecasted financial results.

    + Oversee the implementation of new financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

    + Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

    + Train and guide staff members on financial forecasting and accrual procedures.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting required. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.

    Experience:

    + At least 10 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, accruals, and settlement management processes preferably in a senior leadership role.

    + 5+years prior experience at management level required including prior management and employee development experience including the direct supervision of both management and staff level employees.

    + Proven track record in successfully leading teams

    + Demonstrated experience in improving efficiencies based on targeted metrics.

    + Prior experience working with internal clients and external customers to resolve finance and accounting issues.

    + Thorough knowledge of financial systems and other relevant software (MARS)

    + Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.

    + Excellent understanding of financial forecast and accrual processes.

    + Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.

    + Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information and concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

    + Strong leadership and team management skills.

    + Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and other business intelligence tools.

    Pay Range:$175,000 - $202,000

    Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

    Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:30

    Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
