As part of our transformation, one of our key areas of focus is the modernization of our sales motions. The Global Enterprise Sales organization with a charter to achieve Microsoft and Customer business outcomes with a focus on Artifical Intelligence (AI), Copilot and Security. This is a new Digital Enterprise Sales motion that will focus on accelerating growth of our global and strategic downstream customers within the enterprise and public sector.
As a **Digital Enterprise Sales Specialist** within Digital Solutions, you will work with our most important customers within our enterprise organization. You will drive the day-to-day execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities – selling best-in-class cloud services and platforms to our managed customers and building digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft.
The Digital Solutions team drives growth for Microsoft by helping customers realize the value of the Microsoft Cloud. Powered by a world-class connected sales and marketing platform, this team leverages marketing insights to reach customers when and where they want to engage digitally to help solve their business problems. Responsibilities
Grow Cloud & AI Sales in the territory
+ Drive Azure Solution Plays: win customer projects to Migrate & Modernize their Estate, Unify Data Platform and Innovate with AI Apps and Agents; securely, leveraging digital tools and signals to uncover new contacts and new workloads
+ Build and accelerate pipeline: lead Cloud & AI account/territory plans, leverage sales programs and tools to exceed Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) forecast
+ Orchestrate the Cloud & AI sales motions across Account Executive (AE), Solution Engineer, Customer Success Unit & partners
+ Drive Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) and Unified Support penetration in majors growth accounts
Technical Intensity
+ Conduct demos, architecture whiteboarding and utilize gold standard accelerators
+ Develop knowledge (L200) across the Cloud & AI technology stack:
+ Infrastructure: Virtualization, App Mod / Containerization, IT Ops, migration strategies (Windows/SQL/.Net, Linux/PGSQL/Java, SAP, Oracle, VMWare).
+ AI Apps: Cloud native Apps, AI models, AI/ML frameworks, data handling.
+ Analytics platforms: Real time, Business Intelligence (BI), Data platform modernization, data governance
+ Scope the Proof of Concepts (POCs) and engage Solution Enigeneer (SE) with clear criteria to get customer’s commitment
Azure Business & Industry Expert
+ Inspire customer with relevant demos and repeatable Intellectual Property (IP), based on deep understanding of industry challenges and regulatory requirements
Co-Sell with Partners
+ Grow partner-shared pipeline and enable customer purchase through the Azure Marketplace

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 3+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
+ OR 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
+ 2+ years Experience working in Cloud, AI, Data, or Cybersecurity industry.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
+ OR 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
+ 2+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience
Digital Solution Area Specialists IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $30.53 - $64.62 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $48.37 - $69.18 per hour.
