    13556BRJob Description:The Manager – Project Execution Office reports to the Director - Project Execution Office. The PEO is responsible for all capital projects within the Gary Works Complex. As a Manager within the PEO, the successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with internal and external resources for the flawless execution of capital and other projects. The PEO group is responsible for leading across functional groups to deliver projects on time, on budget, and at the quality and delivery levels our customers require. The Manager – Project Execution Office will direct teams to ensure the workforce is fully engaged, trained, and prepared for the flawless startup of each project.

    Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Provide leadership, strategic direction, and attainment of performance metrics for the program / project.

    + Delivery, resource, and quality management; share knowledge and provide professional development in management of PEO functions

    + Align the delivery and execution of programs / projects through a balance of best in class and pragmatic project methodologies and practices that achieve KPI’s as well as meet or exceed organizational goals, client satisfaction, budget requirements, and SLA’s; generate positive rates of return for the projects being executed

    + Communicate regularly with director and plant management regarding PEO matters. Provide executive visibility regarding project and performance status, issues, risks, costs, and KPI progress; ensure reports emphasize risk mitigation, client satisfaction, trending and predictive analysis and strategic insight

    + Effectively and efficiently lead cross-functional teams, ensuring programs are meeting timeline, budget, and resource allocations for large capital projects

    + Provide clear framework for issue and risk management, including clear escalation procedures.

    + Lead the Project Execution Office in the achievement of all financial targets; complete spend analysis and tracking of projects

    + Partner with sales and other cross functional leaders to understand client and market demand, business strategy, and prioritization to lead pipeline management and project management across the PEO

    + Define future infrastructure needs to support market demand and product development

    + Develop and manage relationships with hourly personnel throughout the implementation process of projects with excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ensure personnel have proper training, prints, BOM’s, spares, and any other tools or resources needed in order to take over the process once implementation is complete

    + Develop commissioning and start-up plans with relevant stakeholders

    + Produce both long and short-term plans for capital jobs

    Education / Experience Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred

    + PMI certification, Six Sigma, or related certifications preferred

    + Minimum of five years experience with proven track record of increasing functional responsibility within a manufacturing environment

    + Must have experience preparing and delivering briefings and recommendations to Directors and Senior Plant Management regularly, where recommendations have been adopted / implemented and desired outcomes were achieved

    + Strong service philosophy and experience in managing complex customer requirements across all aspects of cost, scheduling, and quality

    + Exceptional predictive planning abilities with proven record of recommending and implementing process changes and achieving results
