    Amergis Healthcare is actively looking for Patient ServiceCoordinator that would be interested in a 13 Week,Full-Time Contract in Chicago, IL. Additional detailsof the contract are below:

     

    Position: Patient Service Coordinator

     

    Pay Rate: $25 per hour

    Available Schedules:

    + 9am – 5:30pm

    + 10am – 6:30pm

    + 11pm – 7:30am

    *All Monday – Friday with Rotating Weekends*

     

    Duration : 13 weeks (possible extension)

     

    Duties: As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will function as a staff memberwho, under the direction of the Patient Care Manager, provides support to thepatient/significant others, physician, care and multidisciplinary teams, andadditional care center staff to facilitate patient care within the patient careunits.

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent required

    • At least 1 year of general office experience, preferably in a medical/clinicalsetting

    • Good written and verbal communication, organizational and customerservice skills

    • Ability to multitask effectively, uses discretion and good judgment, andmaintains patient confidentiality

    • Must be able to independently and professionally interact with customers,internal and external to the Hospitals

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, ability to learn and utilize applicablesoftware

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate Business Courses Preferred

    • Medical Terminology Preferred
