    Summary

    The Application Administrator I will be responsible for participating in the daily administration, support, and ongoing maintenance of Enterprise Application environments. This includes installation, integration, deployment of solutions, troubleshooting, and ensuring best practices are followed for availability, reliability, performance monitoring, and security. The role also involves maintaining compliance with auditing requirements.

    + Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to support daily operations and maintenance of enterprise applications. Serve as a backup for other systems while working toward certification or specialized expertise in one or more complex enterprise applications. This includes achieving SME-level knowledge or certification in at least one application, with responsibility for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

    + Manage the full application/system stack, including system security, patching, upgrades, and deployment of custom-developed and third-party solution packages.

    + Participate in managing site quotas, file size limits, application reviews, usage monitoring, and assessing the impact of upcoming functional changes and integrations.

    + Configure applications and related services within the integrated solution stack. Document configurations and integration architecture under the guidance of the SME.

    + Support application security and integration point management in collaboration with SMEs. Create and maintain support documentation for the primary SME application and participate in project meetings affecting system, application, or integration changes.

    + Manage application/system databases and create new ones as needed. Contribute to overall system structure, content, and architecture, identifying opportunities to improve stability, reliability, and support enhancement efforts.

    + Provide subject matter expertise, training, documentation, and support to end-users and team members.

    + Serve as a technical resource for single and integrated application/system projects. Identify impacts, timelines, and execution steps, and support testing and implementation efforts.

    + Conduct quarterly access audit reviews and provide documentation for annual audits.

    + Perform other related duties as required.

     

    Minimum Required** **Qualifications

     

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

     

    + Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

    + CNC Implementation Specialist/other Specific App/system experience.

    + Experience writing queries/stored procedures/data changes.

    + Database, configuration, migration and tuning knowledge and job experience.

    + SQL knowledge and job experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + At least 1: MCTS, MCTIP, MCSE, or other Appropriate MS certifications (BI or SQL)

    + Command Alkon Apex JWS, and/or EDI - Electronic Data Interchange, DSI Data Systems International (Cloud Inventory) Administration installation, configuration, migration and tuning knowledge and job experience (2-4 years) **OR** Other Enterprise Application System installation, configuration, migration and tuning knowledge and job experience (2-4 years) **OR** Broad technical knowledge, aptitude and experience in the areas of server administration, networks, workstations, business intelligence application software troubleshooting techniques (2-4 years).

    + ITIL or ITSM experience.

    + Experience with Application Stack (1-2 years):

    + Active Directory Groups

    + Application Role Based Security

    + Ldap Authentication

    + File Transfer Protocols

    + Web Services/IIS Configurations

    + Load balancing

    + Windows Server OS

    + Standard Windows Printer Setup

    + Crontab

    + Powershell/ Shell Scripting

    + Application Administration and troubleshooting knowledge in the 1 of the following areas:

    + JWS Apex

    + DSI - Cloud Inventory

    + EDI – Electronic Data Interchange

    + JDE E1

    + SharePoint Online

    + Teams

    + Power BI
