**Arrow Sanitary Service** , a Waste Connections company, is looking for an ambitious **PM Technician** to work on our fleet of diesel waste trucks in **Portland, Oregon** .

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

**Wage** :

$26.00 - $32.00/hour DOE

**Safety Sensitive:** Yes

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Complete required paperwork utilizing the fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documents parts usage, and accounts for repair times.

+ Ability to effectively communicate and understand service schedules and/or repairs.

+ General shop maintenance/cleaning duties as needed.

+ Performs routine equipment safety checks.

+ Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

+ Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

+ Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.

+ Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.

+ Work environment may be indoors in a shop, or outdoors to repair trucks on the road. Usually well-lighted and ventilated. Sometimes necessary to work in awkward or tight positions and to handle greasy or dirty tools. These factors require following basic safety precautions.

+ Must be comfortable using computers and diagnostic software for troubleshooting and maintenance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

+ **Minimum of 1-2 years** of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above **_REQUIRED_** .

+ Valid Drivers License with eligible motor vehicle report **_REQUIRED_** .

+ Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement **_preferred_** or ability to obtain in the future required.

+ Personal Tools **_REQUIRED_** .

+ Welding/fabrication experience **_preferred_** .

+ Must bring a strong work ethic, a positive mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow in this role.

+ Position requires eligible motor vehicle report, eligible criminal background check and clean drug panel screening.
