    BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our production efforts in our Terminal High Area Altitude Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. This position will support production program activities, including the interfacing with the production staff, understanding the system requirements, creating and reviewing reports and streamlining processes. This position supports the failure review board by writing new scripts in Matlab to run tests and analyze data in support of troubleshooting and driving root cause on failures.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Electical Engineering

    + Expert in writing and de-bugging Matlab scripts, including creating graphical user interfaces.

    + Experience in working with production and engineering teams.

    + Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior leadership, and other functional disciplines such as Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, along with Project Management Officers

    + Excellent organizational & time management skills

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + An active Secret clearance

    + Expereince running Seeker Test Stands in production or engineering environment.

    + Familiarity with failure analysis activities, Failure Review Board process, to include ability to drive to root cause and the corrective actions for the particular failures being monitored.

    + Experience with missile systems and guided projectiles

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
