**The community you'll be caring for:** AdventHealth Winter Park

+ Winter Park Memorial Hospital has continuously served the residents of Winter Park and its surrounding communities for more than 50 years

+ Chartered in 1951, the hospital has grown from the visionary efforts of a handful of Winter Park residents and community leaders, to a 307-bed acute care facility that is a model of community health and wellness

+ Over the years the hospital has continually expanded to meet the needs of the community, adding an upscale obstetrics and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Dr. P. Phillips Baby Place, cancer care at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute, Winter Park, and state-of-the-art surgery, recovery and rehabilitation at the AdventHealth Orthopedic Institute

**The role you'll contribute:** _Applies paints, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property. Prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishing materials. Assists other trades as needed._

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ _Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested._

+ _Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under general or limited supervision._

+ _Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on a daily basis and in a timely manner._

+ _Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with healthcare, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards._

+ _Responsible for keeping current on maintenance logs._

+ _Replaces sheetrock, tapes and floats, paints all interior and exterior surfaces, and performs minor carpenter work._

+ _Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment, and other property._

+ _Maintains existing paint surfaces by matching and tinting appropriate paint products._

+ _Assists in the operation and general maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems._

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

+ **High School Grad or Equivalent Required**

+ **3 Work Experience Required**

+ **Driver's License (DL) Required**
