    About the role

     

    HealthFitness is seeking a part-time, 6 hours per week, Aquatics Lead at our client site located in Downers Grove, IL.

     

    Responsible for safety, member engagement, and the quality of the aquatic programs during your shifts. Serves as a lifeguard and responsible for pool deck maintenance and aquatic facility supervision.

     

    Availability: Sundays from 1:45PM - 6:15PM

    Key Accountabilities

    Monitor patrons using the facility and enforce/explain rules as necessary. Respond appropriately to any emergency situations.

     

    Track and monitor pool chemistry results and report facility issues to Aquatics Manager and General Manager.

     

    Provide leadership to facility cleaning, pool deck maintenance, and aquatic program supervision.

     

    Assist Aquatics Manager with staff communications and attend all required staff meetings and trainings. Provide customer service and communication with members.

     

    Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    High School Diploma or GED.

     

    Current Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 45 days of start.

     

    Ideal applicants will also have American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification and/or ARC Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification.

     

    Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

     

    Flu vaccination required.

     

    Compensation: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
