    1st Shift Production Supervisor - Fort Collins, CO

     

    ADM Rodelle in Fort Collins CO is looking for a Production Supervisor. The Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily activities of production associates to ensure the efficient and safe manufacturing of our food products. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of food safety regulations, production processes, and effective people management. This role is responsible for meeting production goals, maintaining quality and safety standards, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + Minimum 3+ years experience running a packaging line and or working in production.

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + Time management skills – complete all assigned tasks and training needed.

    + Be approachable and comfortable coaching team in safety, quality and efficiency. Able to hold team accountable, while being a motivator and a positive coach for the team.

    + Be able to maintain process and procedures that management has put into place.

    + Communicate with leadership any issues, ideas for improvements, helping eliminate unnecessary frustrations.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Production oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line employees, assigning tasks to ensure daily and weekly production schedules are met efficiently.

    + Quality and safety enforcement: Ensure all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards are consistently met. This includes adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).

    + Team leadership and development: Motivate, train, and coach production staff on job duties, safety protocols, and company policies. Conduct performance reviews and manage employee relations to build an engaged and high-performing team.

    + Problem-solving and continuous improvement: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, such as equipment malfunctions or process inefficiencies, to minimize downtime and prevent delays. Identify and implement corrective actions for operational improvements.

    + Reporting and documentation: Prepare accurate daily production and sanitation reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintain records for compliance.

    + Keep production flowing by checking and monitoring equipment and team.

    + Making maintenance calls when appropriate only after proper operator trouble shooting.

    + Making sure all pre-op/post-op, transfer, OEE, Quality sheets are 100% correct and work is completed properly.

    + Work with other departments and senior operators to ensure positive communication and continuous improvement.

    + Employees in this position working at this location may be exposed to various potential biological, chemical and food allergens due to the nature of our business and the requirements of the job.

    + Procedures must be adhered to, to minimize/eliminate exposure.

    This position will work Monday – Thursday 7am-5:30pm, Overtime and phone calls as required.

    Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

     

    If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

    The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

    $58,100.00 - $108,000.00
