Summary:

Meta's Strategic Sourcing Organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Sourcing Manager to lead the end-to-end sourcing processes for technical professional services and quality assurance testing services in support of Meta's Reality Labs and Family of Apps. As a key member of our team, this individual will be responsible for driving successful sourcing outcomes by actively managing sourcing categories, driving supplier negotiations, and supporting & influencing business decisions.

Required Skills:

Strategic Sourcing Manager - Technology Responsibilities:

1. Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Meta Reality Labs and Family of Apps to strategically develop, implement and optimize sourcing and vendor management solutions

2. Manage end-to-end sourcing projects (including planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of projects and processes)

3. Own and lead RFx processes, including supplier discovery, selection, internal and external alignment, scoping, scoring, bid evaluations, market analysis, negotiations, and award

4. Drive in-depth market analysis and competitive benchmarking activities to ensure continuous supplier improvement in purchase price and total cost of ownership. Measure, report, and action cost improvements as compared to market pricing

5. Lead contract negotiation and contracting (e.g., master agreements, statements of work, order forms, amendments, etc.) with internal partners and external suppliers

6. Actively identify, track, and manage issues and risks for the projects

7. Identify, develop, and deploy industry-leading supplier management, procurement and category management practices

8. Ensure program success through consistent supplier management and governance methodologies, in collaboration with business stakeholders

9. Balance business requirements versus technical constraints to maximize business benefits

10. Establish collaborative relationships across strategic sourcing, contracts, procurement operations, legal, FP&A, and other cross-functional organizations

Minimum Qualifications:

11. 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, or contracting supporting technology services

12. Extensive experience collaborating, influencing, and communicating effectively with internal clients and external suppliers

13. Demonstrated experience in analyzing complex information and data sets, thinking critically, and driving successful outcomes through negotiation

14. Experience managing time-sensitive projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and multiple stakeholder teams

15. Experience drafting/redlining professional services and software agreements with clear understanding of contract language and terms

16. Experience using a range of tools and technologies, including office productivity tools (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.), contract management software and willing to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and workflows, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation

18. Familiarity navigating the nuances of purchasing technology services, specifically quality assurance testing services, and associated agreements

Public Compensation:

$111,000/year to $162,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
