    As a **Security Professional - Logistics Access Patrol** in **West Columbia, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

     

    As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols to help deter incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.     Thur12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

     

    Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

     

    Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

     

    Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.

    + Assist with visitor management by maintaining logs and providing directions as needed.

    + Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through presence and observation.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to identify and report any security-related concerns.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.

    + Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.

    + Follow site-specific policies and procedures, adapting to the unique needs of a logistics and distribution environment.

    + Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures.

    + Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
