Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a GM Controls Engineer to join their team. As a GM Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Controls Engineering department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** GM Controls Engineer

**Location:** Buffalo, New York

**Pay Range:** $45-50 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Implement and troubleshoot Rockwell PLC systems within a manufacturing environment.

+ Develop and modify SLC programming to support production needs.

+ Collaborate with onsite teams to select and procure networking components for machinery.

+ Write scope of work documentation for maintenance and installation of networking equipment.

+ Update AutoCAD drawings to reflect IP address and network changes, or redline and submit updates.

What's Needed?

+ Experience with Rockwell PLC systems and SLC programming.

+ Familiarity with manufacturing environments and onsite work requirements.

+ Ability to select and procure machine networking components.

+ Knowledge of GM GCCS standards and networking protocols.

+ Strong communication skills to collaborate with higher-level IT systems.
