Description
AWS Certifications validate cloud expertise to help professionals highlight in-demand skills and organizations build effective, innovative teams for cloud initiatives using AWS. It is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to develop and execute a strategy for validating and credentialing AI skills. You will be responsible for staying on top of new and emerging AI technologies, understanding the impact on job roles, and identifying and defining opportunities for credentialing and skills validation. You will collaborate with peers and leaders on other teams beyond Certifications - including Partner Training, Digital Training, and Education programs - to define and test product concepts. And you will own the strategy for what credentials T&C offers.
This role is cross-functional and your success will depend on your ability to influence others. You are expected to create buy-in for our products and evangelize for our team across internal and external stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Define strategy for AI credentialing by diving deep into customer and partner data. Translate the customer problem statement into product definition.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer data to formulate hypotheses and run experiments. Use the validated learnings to iterate and refine credentialing strategy.
- Partner closely with other AWS to stay on top of the latest AI technologies.
- Drive adoption of your vision for credentialing with broader T&C teams
- Leverage your understanding of the customer and business goals to innovate; define a vision and then align teams all the way to delivery of that vision.
- Innovate ways of validating skills by leveraging new and emerging technologies
- Write strategy documents, detailed business cases, and requirements for credentialing.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
- Experience in identifying a customer need, building a product to meet that need, and launching that product
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
