Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Multimedia Coordinator, COECS - Boca Raton, FL.
This role combines creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to deliver compelling content that drives student engagement and enhances the College’s brand. We are seeking a versatile and innovative Multimedia & Marketing Specialist to lead and support multimedia production efforts—including video, photography, graphic design, and digital campaigns, while contributing to broader marketing strategy and audience engagement.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and producing high-quality multimedia content such as student stories, event recaps, instructional media, and promotional materials. They will also support content development across social media, email, and web platforms, helping to maintain a dynamic content calendar and coordinate digital campaigns that align with recruitment and communication goals.
In addition to creative production, this role involves maintaining College web pages, interpreting campaign performance data, and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. Collaboration is central, as the specialist will work closely with internal teams and university partners to develop content and creative assets that reflect FAU’s brand and values.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Multimedia Production & Design:
+ Support in the planning and production of high-quality video content, including student stories, event recaps, instructional media, and promotional materials.
+ Capture, edit, and curate professional photography for use across admissions materials, social media, and web platforms.
+ Conceptualize and design branded graphics for videos, social media, presentations, and digital campaigns.
+ Manage video shoots, editing, motion design, and post-production workflows from start to finish.
Marketing & Content Strategy:
+ Coordinate and support content planning, development, and execution for social media, email, and digital platforms.
+ Maintain and contribute to a dynamic content calendar with a focus on timely, relevant, and engaging messaging.
+ Coordinate digital campaigns across the admissions website, including seasonal promotions, announcements, and recruitment campaigns.
Email, Website, and Data:
+ Update and maintain College web pages, making minor HTML edits to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency.
+ Assist in gathering and interpreting campaign performance data using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Insights, or other reporting dashboards.
Collaboration & Leadership:
+ Work closely with internal teams and university partners to develop content and creative assets aligned with FAU’s brand and communication goals.
+ Coordinate and manage deliverables for multimedia projects and marketing activities.
+ Perform additional job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.
Applicants are required to submit samples of previous content work such as video, photography, or graphic design as part of their application. These samples may be provided either as a link or as an attachment within the job application. Applicants who fail to include work samples will not be considered.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Experience in Higher Education.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom).
Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and post-production workflows.
Demonstrated photography skills, including portrait, event, and promotional photography.
Experience with Google Analytics and social media platforms and performance metrics.
Salary:
$50,000 - $60,000 per year.
