Customer Service and Events Specialist

### Job Duties
• Work with customer service team in processing domestic orders, calculating pricing; schedule shipping dates; entering orders in our EPR system; fulfilling all paperwork needed to accompany orders for shipments.
• Arrange shipping by completing customs and shipping related documentation and tracking shipments to destination.
• Maintain relationships with all top distributors defined by the Sales Manager to ensure fulfillment of orders.
• Perform correspondence and communication to distributors, and direct customers to ensure orders are delivered and coordinated.
• Assists Sales team with Return Authorizations, Cases, Customer Complaints and assists with data entry on cases in designated CRM and Quality software.
• Communicate with supply chain, operations, receiving and shipping on inventory needs to fulfill orders.
• Arrange shipping by completing shipping related documents, notifying freight forwarders, scheduling containers for shipments and tracking them to the destination.
• Maintains and updates filing systems, utilizes CRM software for accurate tracking of communications with sales team and customers.
• Authorizes the payment of freight invoices.
• Coordinate trade shows: Includes pre- and post-show advertising, meetings, scheduling, packing crates and coordinating shipments.
• Assist Marketing Manager to reserve booth space for future events.
• Coordinate Schools/Education for off-site events: Includes pre- and post-show advertising, meetings, scheduling, packing crates and coordinating shipments.
• Assist Marketing Manager with event to-do’s, deadlines, budgeting Excel reports via Basecamp Project Management website.
• Responsible for trade show literature, materials and show direction/message per meetings with Marketing Manager and IKONICS Division managers/sales team.
• Coordinate with internal Shipping Department and external freight companies for shipments to and from events.
• Organizing and maintaining inventory of marketing assets which includes: tradeshow gear, promotional items, literature and printed pieces which have reorder points.
• Track event work in Base Camp, a project-management site maintaining project schedules and deadlines.
• Preparation and shipment of promotional package requests from TSR.

### Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
### Minimum Experience Required
Language Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to transfer data from imperial units to metric units of measure and volumes.
Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
