    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Marketing. We will consider strong candidates conducting research in all areas of Marketing, but strong preference will be given to candidates in Digital Marketing or AI-Related Marketing.

     

    The teaching load will be 2-1 until conferral of tenure and salary are competitive with similar positions at other research universities. The starting date will be August 2026, and the position is contingent on final budgetary approval.     Minimum Experience / Education:

    UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.

    The department seeks candidates whose research, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to providing education with profound social and economic value and lifelong impact for students from all backgrounds. A Ph.D. in Marketing or closely related field from an accredited school is required. Furthermore, a demonstrated commitment to excellence is expected in high-quality research, teaching, and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels is expected.
