Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and ensuring high-quality production of sheet metal parts.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and operate basic machinery to manufacture sheet metal parts according to specifications.

+ Inspect parts during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards.

+ Interpret and work from basic blueprints to ensure accurate production.

+ Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

+ Track and manage materials and supplies needed for production.

+ Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

+ Maintain accurate records of production activities and machinery maintenance.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operating or assembly.

+ Experience in a manufacturing setting.

+ Mechanical ability.

+ Ability to use basic blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in a fast-paced manufacturing facility featuring state-of-the-art equipment. You will primarily work independently in the fabrication department, occasionally collaborating with others. Be prepared to stand or sit for 8-hour shifts, performing repetitive tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
