Description- $25/hr

The Plant Maintenance Technician A responsibilities include using knowledge and experience and as directed by supervisor and plant manager to install, repair, and maintain plant polyurethane equipment and facility services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive maintenance activities as scheduled.

• Respond to reactive maintenance requirements as needed.

• Communicate potential safety issues to supervision immediately.

• Assist Lead in reporting and maintaining maintenance supplies and records.

• Identify opportunities to reduce total maintenance cost.

• Assist in operator training for equipment as directed.

• Perform all activities in a safe and appropriate manner.

• Repair equipment and facilities to high standard.

• Continual improvement, modifications or ideas to repair equipment efficiency and reliability.

• Verifies polyurethane foam equipment is operating within design specifications.

• Supports the root cause analysis process to address product quality and scrap issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical systems.

• Basic understanding of AC/DC Drives, Hydraulic Pumps, Chemical Metering Pumps, Electrical Schematics, Fabrication, Operating – Mill, Lathe, Band Saw, Mig Welder, Stick Welder, and Plasma Cutter.

• Tooling repair using welding, cutting, grinding.

• HVAC- basic operation and troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
