    Job Title: RF Test Technician - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled RF Test Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility. You will play a critical role in setting up and conducting tests on RF emissions from power sources, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This position is for the 2nd shift, from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday to Friday.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up testing requirements as per customer orders.

    + Record test data accurately and troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing.

    + Conduct tests on RF emissions from various power sources, including ESD test stations, automotive pulse scenarios, wireless communications, Wi-Fi, GPS, and mobile phone immunity.

    + Operate and monitor tests in different chambers such as the 3-meter chamber for passenger car screen testing, the 1-meter chamber for wire and router testing, and the metal chamber for environmental element testing.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-3 years of RF testing or schooling experience OR military communications/electronics experience.

    + Proficiency in reading schematics.

    + 1-3 years of electronics/EMC testing experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Military Electronics/Communications major is a plus.

    + 5+ years of RF experience is preferred.

    + 5+ years of EMC experience is desirable.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
