Job Title: Production Support Worker
Job Description
This role involves supporting CNC Machine operators in our Machine Shop. You will follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform your duties, using various hand and power tools. Your primary responsibility is to ensure product quality throughout the process, acting as the right-hand person to the CNC Machinists. This is an excellent opportunity to learn CNC operations, as you will be involved in acquiring raw materials, ensuring quality, assisting in running machines, and performing changeovers.
Responsibilities
+ Operate various equipment to meet production requirements in the machine shop production cell.
+ Use a forklift to move materials and other products.
+ Prepare orders for production by picking components according to the bill of material and cutting raw materials to the specified length.
+ Buff and polish assemblies to 3A certification standards.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.
+ High attention to detail with a focus on quality and producing quality parts.
+ Experience using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Work Environment
Work in an extremely clean and organized environment set up in production cells, where each person performs a specific task to move small temperature products through the process. The facility is temperature-controlled, with minimal machinery, as most products are moved hand to hand. Shifts available are 1st shift (6:45 AM - 3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (3:15 PM - 11:30 PM), with differential pay based on experience. Employees are required to wear steel-toed or composite shoes, and a voucher for boots or shoes is typically provided after conversion to a permanent position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
