Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Operator I

Job Description

The Wastewater Treatment Operator I will perform a variety of essential duties to support the wastewater treatment operations in a designated facility. This role involves the inspection, monitoring, and maintenance of pump stations to ensure efficient operation.

Responsibilities

+ Inspect, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment operations in the facility.

+ Perform maintenance and repair on pumps and related equipment.

+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, practices, and procedures.

+ Troubleshoot problems or situations that arise in the treatment process.

+ Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Essential Skills

+ Certification in Industrial Wastewater Treatment.

+ 1 year of experience working with industrial chemicals or in a metal plating environment.

+ 1 year of experience in wastewater treatment operations.

+ Knowledge of wastewater, water reclamation, and related treatment processes.

+ Understanding of methods, tools, materials, and equipment used in the inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and operation of pumps.

+ Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work in a team environment.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting problems or situations.

Work Environment

This role operates within a manufacturing warehouse environment with moderate ambient conditions. The work setting includes exposure to dust, fumes, cold, heat, and humidity from plating and chemical solutions, with a moderate noise level.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Santa Ana, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
