Cable & Installation Technician– Low Voltage Specialist (Beaufort, SC)

Schedule:Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM (4x10hr shifts)

Pay:$22–$35/hr (higher rates considered for extensive experience)

TEKsystems is hiring aAccess Control Technicianfor a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity in the Beaufort, SC area. This role focuses on supporting school districts with structured cabling, security camera systems, and access control installations—providing reliable infrastructure where it matters most.

What You’ll Be Doing:

+ Installing and servicingstructured cabling,CCTV systems, andaccess control systems

+ Working primarily inschool district facilitiesacross Beaufort County

+ Ensuring clean, professional, and code-compliant installations

+ Troubleshooting and resolving low voltage system issues

+ Collaborating with a team to meet project timelines and quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

+ Hands-on experience withlow voltage systems(structured cabling, security cameras, access control)

+ Strong work ethic and apositive, team-oriented personality

+ Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions

+ Comfortable working second shift (3pm–2am, Mon–Thurs)

+ Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
