Lead Engineer - Infrastructure

Enterprise Infrastructure is a part of One Main's Enterprise Infrastructure department. As a Systems Administrator, you will be a member of the IT team responsible for all Intel-based infrastructure administration and support for both Private and Public Cloud. We provide the administration of (both physical and virtual platforms), operating systems, storage systems, and configuration, installation, deployment, and monitoring of infrastructure systems.
You will primarily work with other administrators and analysts in the infrastructure department but will work with and support employees’ company-wide to ensure that Enterprise Infrastructure Infrastructure is providing the systems, support, and administration required to meet the diverse needs of the entire organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform special projects as Project Lead.
+ Perform maintenance- and performance-tuning of infrastructure platforms: VmWare, Nutanix, Storage, SAN, and Active Directory.
+ Ensure the Open Systems infrastructure availability and security.
+ Communicate with business professionals at multiple levels across the organization.
+ Proactively monitor hardware platforms for potential performance and capacity concerns.
+ Apply preventative maintenance and upgrades on servers.
+ Communicate with key leadership and recommend changes or improvements.
+ Provide back-end server hardware support for new and existing infrastructure.
+ Monitor, maintain, and resolve support tickets, documenting all activities performed in ticket notes and resolution.
Required Qualifications:
+ 5-10 years of Open Systems Infrastructure experience.
+ Working knowledge of current enterprise SAN/NAS storage systems.
+ Working knowledge of VMWare and Nutanix infrastructure
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
+ Understanding of server systems, application processes, and networking technology.
+ Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
+ Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team-based environment.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to work flexible hours; some off-hours support is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or other IT-related field.
+ Microsoft, VMWare, Nutanix, or similar industry certification(s).

Target base salary range is xx-xx, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
