    System One (Pittsburgh, PA)


    Job Title: Chemical Operator I

     

    Type: Long-Term Contract (Onsite)

     

    Pay: $25–$26/hr

     

    Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate and monitor multiple chemical processing systems per formulation and safety specs.

    + Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and quality checks on equipment and facility areas.

    + Conduct in-process lab testing following QC/QA protocols.

    + Complete work orders, logs, and safety documentation accurately.

    + Load/unload bulk and box trailers and handle material transfers.

    + Troubleshoot process issues and perform basic maintenance or repairs as needed.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + 2+ years of manufacturing experience (chemical industry preferred).

    + Knowledge of OSHA and hazardous materials handling.

    + Strong mechanical and maintenance skills.

    + Basic math, computer, and communication skills.

    + Forklift certification preferred.

    + Ability to work overtime and different shifts as needed
