As a **Contracts Manager - Manager Level 2 (Mid-Level Manager)** , located in Redondo Beach, CA you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.

     

    This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

     

    Our Contracts Manager will be responsible for leading a team of contracts professionals who will be strategizing and conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiations and administration and customer contract activities. You will ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements.

    In this job, you will:

    + Provide advice and counsel to senior leadership on contractual risks and obligations along with interpreting terms and conditions

    + Oversee strategy, coordination, approval, submittal and negotiation of proposals

    + Other duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience including people management experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience including people management experience

    + Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree

    + Leadership experience

    + Contract management experience

    + Experience with MS Office Suite

    + No clearance required to start

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Contract administration or contract management experience in Defense or Aerospace industry

    + Experience managing cost-type or firm fixed price (FFP) procurement contract types, experience with Other Transactions is a plus

    + Experience with federal government contracting requirements; FAR/DFAR interpretations

    + Proposal development experience

    + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI access

    Primary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
