    About the team

     

    The mission of SAP Business Suite, Finance & Spend, teams is to drive adoption, usage, and growth for our Finance & Spend products through industry leading AI and innovation, with a steadfast focus on complementing SAP’s market leading Business Suite. We are responsible for defining product scenarios based on market and target customer needs and translating them into consumable product requirements for engineering teams. We work hand-in-hand with our engineering and product marketing teams, as well as with our customers and partners on continuously improving our Finance & Spend solutions. As the VP, Delivery and Transformation, you will have the opportunity to support the Product & Engineering teams in all product delivery operations and transformation initiatives.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    We are looking for a passionate customer-focused manager who will manage a team of program managers and delivery colleagues to support the Product & Engineering teams and his/her entire team to ensure products are delivered superbly to market on time. Secondly, you will manage a team focused on transformation initiatives which enable seamless, harmonized, and lean operations throughout our Product & Engineering organization. Thirdly, you will manage a highly efficient and experienced team on all our 3rd Party / Contractor engagements

     

    + End-to-end ownership for product delivery

    + Lead a team of program managers who will focus on the highest prioritized roadmap topics

    + Lead a group of talented colleagues who will design, train, and enable our development organization to adopt our Harmonized Product Operating Model (HPOM)

    + Lead a team who owns end-to-end 3rd Party / Contractor management (onboarding, offboarding, optimizing ROI for these 3rd Party engagements, etc)

    What You Bring

    + 10 years of experience, with at least 5 leading complex organizations focused on multiple operational topics.

    + Comprehensive understanding of SAP’s strategy and SAP’s product portfolio.

    + Highly responsive, takes pride in always-on accessibility and thrives in fast-paced environment with a customer-first attitude.

    + Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver highest quality work under time constraints and in complex environments with little or no guidance.

    + Good analytical, C-level communication and networking skills.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with partners and internal teams, as well as board/executive level presentation skills.

    + High level of flexibility, integrity and confidentiality.

    + Self-motivated and results-driven, with demonstrable success in previous positions.

    + Ideally, an international track record showcasing that you can effectively relate to multicultural teams.

    + Fluent or near-native English language skills.

    **Compensation Range Transparency** : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 274300 - 609,200 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
