Are you ready to take the next step in your imaging career? UPMC Lock Haven is currently seeking a full-time Diagnostic Technologist to join our dedicated team. This role offers a dynamic schedule with rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours.

• What You'll Do:
+ Perform diagnostic radiography procedures independently using established protocols.
+ Administer oral and rectal contrast as ordered.
+ Accurately document patient history and ensure proper coding and image archiving.
+ Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and ease concerns.
+ Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient, compassionate care.

Qualifications:
+ Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program, or verification of program completion and scheduled graduation date.
+ Candidates may be hired prior to graduation but must work under indirect supervision of an ARRT-certified technologist until their degree is verified.
+ ARRT certification is required to work in an outpatient setting.
Licensure, Certifications & Clearances:
+ ARRT Registry Eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
+ Must obtain ARRT Radiography certification within:
+ 6 months of hire (for hires on or after January 1, 2025)
+ 12 months of hire/transfer (for hires before January 1, 2025)
+ CPR or BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (must meet AHA standards including both didactic and hands-on components).
+ If working in New York State, candidates must:
+ Be certified by ARRT or NMTCB
+ Hold a valid license from the New York State Department of Health
• Required Clearances:
+ ARRT Certificate
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Act 31 - Child Abuse Reporting (with renewal)
+ Act 33 - PA Child Abuse History Clearance (with renewal)
+ Act 34 - PA Criminal Background Check (with renewal)
+ Act 73 - FBI Fingerprint Clearance (with renewal)
