Job Description
Traffic Operations (70%)
The Traffic Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the trafficking department, coordinating the scheduling of underwriting and promotional materials for broadcast, web, email, streaming, podcasts, and more.
Broadcast and Digital Daily Messaging Operations
• Print Sales Orders for KUOW broadcast underwriting and provide contract confirmations to internal and external clients.
Creative Asset Coordination
• Maintain copy/creative deadlines for underwriting and promotional messaging campaigns and send missing copy/creative reports every Monday and Wednesday (or as needed) to the Business Support, Fundraising, and Marketing teams.
• Manage traffic approval in Salesforce for KUOW underwriting and promotions. Maintain copy standards including checking for grammar, syllable count, pronouncers and functioning URLS before spots are approved.
• Add creative to upcoming flights using the Marketron, Triton and Google Ad Manager copy applications.
• Manage scheduling of email creative from station email calendar.
Inventory Reporting
• The Traffic Coordinator will assist Traffic Management in providing inventory reports for business support, including estimated impressions on various channels.
• Create reports on the broadcast and digital performance of Business Support (Underwriting) and Marketing (Promotions) messaging campaigns including spot times reports and digital affidavits.
Ad Quality Continuity for AdSense
• Conduct weekly ad quality review of ads delivering on KUOW.org through the AdSense platform.
Community Engagement Support (25%)
• Answer audience feedback and inquiries in salesforce
• Facilitate and support the planning of community engagement events that bring together listeners, journalists, and community members
• Research and administrative work related to community engagement priorities and events.
Other duties as assigned (5%)
Minimum Qualifications
• High school graduation or equivalent AND Two years of clerical experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$21.28 hourly
Pay Range Maximum:
$26.31 hourly
