Responsibilities*
Inpatient unit Administrative Assistant to perform routine administrative activities with limited authority to make commitments on behalf of unit. Prepares and submits biweekly payroll generated from One Staff data. Has payroll reviewed and signed by Nurse Manager of unit, in time to meet payroll deadline. Reviews GPRs and seeks adjustments when necessary. Follows up with staff involved, collects productivity, payroll, and attendance data. Approves changes in staffing/scheduling of staff. Prepares and submits travel, hosting, tuition support requests. Completes projects and other duties as assigned by manager.
Required Qualifications*
High school education or equivalent and more than four years of experience.
Under general direction, provides general administrative support to a department or group of professionals. Exercises considerable discretion and independent judgment and is capable of analyzing complex information requests and determining complex trends. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
Desired Qualifications*
Prefer an Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Computer skills including Power Point, MS Word, and MS Excel spreadsheets, and web skills, payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or financial experience are necessary. Demonstrated excellent verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrated customer service skills.

Background Screening
