Primary Responsibilities:

+ Performs non-destructive testing (Fluorescent Penetrant and Etch) based on qualifications

+ Process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results in accordance with procedures

+ Familiar with the scope and limitations of the method, in which certified and as directed, be capable of providing the necessary guidance to trainees and Level 1 personnel

+ Familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the methods, including the scope and limitations of each technique/method

+ Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards

+ Performs cleaning and inspection of aircraft airfoils according to customers' specifications.

+ Identifies structural and material defects

+ Interprets test results

+ Completes test reports and presents findings

+ Maintains proper segregation and identification of components in progress.

+ Completes all required documentation in accordance with established procedures.

+ Engages and supports the organization's Continuous Improvement activities.

+ Be proficient in handling all the equipment that applies to completing the required job

+ Capable of interpreting and understanding part drawings and illustrated planning.

+ Must be able to follow work instructions to ensure the proper processing of parts.

Qualifications You Must Have:

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Pass the near vision eye test at Jaeger 1 or its equivalent and the color perception test

+ Must have some basic computer skills.

+ U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or permanent resident) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

+ Pass Etch and FPI certification testing requirements upon completion of on-the-job training

Qualifications We Prefer:

+ Experience in NDT processes of FPI and/or Etch

+ Prior experience in inspection of gas turbine engine airfoils

+ Current NAS 410, or equivalent, certification for Level 2 FPI

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
