Please review the following job description:
• In the Scaled Agile Framework partners with product managers to balance business, technology and design priorities to deliver brand-defining product and service experiences.
• Ability to understand strategic impacts but concentrate on the day-to-day details in order to ensure tactical execution.
• Work with Product Managers to translate the product vision into epics and features that can be actioned by the delivery teams. Work will span the entire delivery process; from assisting with identification of areas for improvement, to more detailed work in authoring user stories, working closely with technical leads/scrum teams to ensure the solution effectively addresses experience priorities while maintaining technical integrity, and overseeing tactical execution of efforts.
• Lead delivery team’s priorities in PI planning, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies; aligned to larger experience platform priorities and vision defined by product management.
• Align with product managers to clearly articulate product strategy to the delivery team.
• Deliver new experiences by working directly with delivery, experience design, business, and operations partners to design new products and improvements to existing capabilities.
• Author and maintain the team’s backlog of user stories and serve as a subject matter expert on features, user stories, and product capabilities.
• Perform triage on critical issues, escalating as necessary, and communicating consistently and clearly with all concerned parties.
• Serve as key resource to development team to answer questions, provide clarifications, and conduct and coordinate business validation, focusing on fitness for use.
• Update leadership on the epic and feature delivery schedule, including dependencies impacting deliverables, along with recommended solutions.
• Partner with solution architects and other technical leads to ensure their solutions effectively address program priorities while balancing client experience and technical integrity.
• Facilitate sprint planning with stakeholder groups to drive alignment and visibility for which features will be built when, and to ensure overall adherence to the product roadmap and enterprise strategic themes.
• Facilitate sprint demos and provide final acceptance for completed user stories in sprint demos; ensuring that the story meets acceptance criteria and otherwise meets its definition of done.
• Coordinate the creation of release-specific business documents, such as support model definitions, go/no-go approvals, internal release notes, and release-related living documents.
• Ensure all PML process & procedures are followed, supporting security, risk, audit, and more, and ensure action items and deadlines are met. Partner with product manager on evidence to support recommendations.
Requirements
• Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or other technical field.
• Must have 5 years of progressive experience in product analyst or consulting positions within the banking and/or financial services industry performing/utilizing the following:
o Leading cross functional teams, working as a Product Owner for Agile team(s)
o Managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment, defining and delivering large-scale business initiatives to execute on a product roadmap, including stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, test planning/support and business-level product validation
o Demonstrating technical acumen and working with the technology organization to align product and technology roadmaps; translating strategic plans into tactical daily actions for execution
o Interpreting data and trends, diagnosing problems, and recommending action plans to resolve issues
o Pricing of FX products: Spot, Forward, NDF, SWAPS, Time Deposits and Options.
o Implementation and Validation of Trade workflow and Life cycle for Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office (BO) Operations.
o Validation of Confirmation matching for both Incoming and Outgoing Swift Confirmations. (MT300, MT305, MT306)
o For BO validations on Wall Street Systems, generating Payment messages including DDA, Fedwire and Swift Payment (MT103, MT202, MT202Cov, MT192, MT292, MT940, MT950) and validation of the message workflow queue movements for sending the Swift Payments
o Implementation and Validation of Intraday/Real Time trade reporting to DTCC from System of Records for SPOT, Forwards, Swaps, NDF and Options like Vanilla, Asian, Exotic options like Knock-in, knock-out, Single barrier, Double Barrier and Digitals.
o Implementation, Validation and reporting of the Realtime (RT), RT PET, Trade State messages reporting to DTCC via MQ in XML/csv message format.
o Working with:
• Rally, JIRA, Splunk, and SQL
• Agile Methodology
• FX Trade Lifecycle, eCommerce, Electronic Trading, Confirmations and Settlements, Accounting and Reconciliation of Books and Records, EOD operations and Reports generation and validation, PnL and MTM files generation and Validation.
• Trading Platforms: Wall Street Systems, Aphelion eFX, FXall, 360T, Bloomberg
• Swap Dealer Regulations; Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFDC), European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA); Financial Conduct Authority (FCA); and Ontario Securities Commission (OSC)
• Cross Border and Domestic Payment Modalities, including SWIFT, Fedwire, automated ACH payments
