What You'll Be Doing
+ Lead and implement EHS programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and permits (i.e. RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, EPCRA, TSCA, etc.).
+ Be the site expert in environmental compliance and company liaison during interactions with state and federal agencies.
+ Drive a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, and employee engagement.
+ Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
+ Investigate incidents and ensure timely resolution with root cause analysis.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
What Are We Looking For
+ Proven ability to lead and influence EHS initiatives in industrial or manufacturing settings, preferable in hazardous waste.
+ Strong knowledge of EPA, RCRA, OSHA and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
+ Strong technical knowledge to prepare reports, analyze data.
+ Skilled in conducting audits, training, and incident investigations.
+ Effective communicator with a collaborative and proactive approach.
+ Commitment to fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
+ Requires 1 to 5 years experience in environmental, health, safety or engineering.
Work Environment
This role involves both office and field work, including time spent at a GRR, fully permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal facility. Travel to various company locations may be required. The position may involve exposure to varying weather and environmental conditions.
