We're seeking production lab techs to join the 1st shift inventory team at our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX.

Base pay (entry level $15.50/hr) PLUS additional bi-weekly bonus opportunities.  We also have a generous PTO plan and many other benefits.

1st Shift Hours:     Mondays-Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs.  Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers.

Inventory tasks include:

+ Printing orders for job trays

+ Removing lenses from manufacturer's box, placing on correct side of tray for production

+ Observing data on job trays

+ Order picking - pick lenses and frames

+ RF scanning

+ Pre-inspect lenses for visual imperfections

+ Stocking, assisting with various department functions and performing other assigned duties

+ No specific education required

+ No specific experience required but prior experience in warehouse or mass production operations, order picking or inventory preferred

+ Prior optical production experience a plus

+ Must be able to read and write English
