The Senior Echocardiographic Technician produces diagnostic
images using ultrasound equipment. Responsibilities include performing
diagnostic procedures, training staff, maintaining quality control,
participating in and facilitating meetings. The role involves rotation, supply
monitoring, operating information systems, accurate billing, and record
maintenance. The technician ensures a clean, safe work area, assists with data
collection, and adheres to schedules and patient care standards.

Staff Echocardiographic Technician: $51.22 - $67.63 Hourly
Senior Echocardiographic Technician: $61.46 - $81.12 Hourly
Salary Range: $51.22 to $81.12 Hourly
Qualifications

+ Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology Program - required
+ Registered with ARDMS-RDCS (AE) for Adults - required
+ Registered with ARDMS-RDCS (PE) for Pediatrics - required
+ BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
+ At least 3 years of Adult Echo experience - required for Senior Echo Tech
+ Able to take call and report to duty within 60 minutes of request
+ Knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
+ Ability to apply theory to practice in the application of ultrasound technique to the clinical evaluation of the target anatomy
+ Ability to push the 500+ lb. echo machine for distances up to 100 feet within the office
