Position Summary:
The Director, Global Brand Experience & Events (BX) will project lead events, and in an executive producer capacity, to drive the conceptualization, planning and execution of brand experiential. Projects will include runway, brand image and consumer / retail events and across a wide range of Calvin Klein product categories.
In addition to global projects, this role will translate global marketing strategies into a seasonal experiential approach for Regions and Licensees and lead execution governance to deliver on brand standards worldwide.
The ideal candidate will be able to identify culture impact moments and compelling event opportunities, while passing each through the lens of the brand, to implement exciting programs that speak directly to industry and consumers.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:
• STRATEGY
o The role will partner closely with the Sr. Director on development of global event programs that elevate brand positioning.
o Director to drive seasonal global strategies for Regions and Licensee experiential.
• GLOBAL BRAND EXPERIENCE + EVENTS
o Serve as an executive event producer and in-house experiential expert for the brand.
o Head project lead for the execution of priority global events. Fully own end-to-end event planning and team / agency management, while delivering on benchmarks & objectives and communicating closely with the Senior Director and stakeholders along the way.
o Lead cross-functional collaboration and alignment with key internal / external partners to deliver the highest quality and impactful events.
o Lead partnership with top agencies, vendors, venues, and industry creatives. Propose and vet new and exciting partners.
o Lead creation of event materials, inclusive leadership presentations and detailed agency RFPs.
o Function as a self-starter and thought leader that proactively generates usable ideas and event opportunities within the culture zeitgeist.
o Lead creative brainstorms and concept ideation with team. Oversee the active reporting of experiential / industry moments and happenings in New York and key global cities.
• REGIONS & LICENSEE
o Translate global marketing strategies into an experiential approach for Regions & Licensee and lead team, in partnership with Senior Manager(s), in development of scalable seasonal Global directives.
o Establish strong partnerships with Regions & Licensee leads. Lead BX team in governance efforts while delivering streamlined communication and collaboration, as well as driving strategic and executional alignment and process efficiencies.
• BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Lead development & management of project-based budgets and contribute to annual planning. Deliver budgets against parameters set by department head, identifying efficiencies and opportunities to secure preferential pricing.
o Oversee team in budget management, invoice tracking and processing.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
• 10+ years of relevant experience in lifestyle or luxury brand communications & marketing with a primary focus on events, ideally a mix of in-house and agency roles within fashion.
• Extensive experience executing brand events & runway is required.
• Must have strong managerial and project ownership experience, and a proven ability to inspire and nurture individual talents within a collaborative environment.
• Expert budget development competencies.
• Established industry contacts across experiential agencies, vendors, and venues.
• Experience with high-profile talent and influencers
• Experience with Regional markets and/or licensee partners strongly preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
Knowledge/Skills Required
• Must be a creative thinker and strategic problem solver with track record of successfully delivering high-impact brand events.
• Highly proactive in approach with ability to independently execute projects from beginning to end, while driving timelines to meet benchmarks.
• Expert ability to multi-task across concurrent projects with exceptional attention to detail and time management capabilities.
• Agile in maneuvering across a large and complex organization with an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset to make things happen.
• Able to adapt to team culture and is passionate about becoming part of it.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – both written and verbal
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Keynote, and PowerPoint. Adobe Suite preferred.
Pay Range:$143,200---$193,300
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, which includes diverse and robust health and insurance benefits to meet the varied needs of our associates and an above-market 401(k) contribution to help our associates save for retirement. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible. This role is equity eligible.
