    • Job Opening: Transformer Assembler – 2nd Shift

    **Location:** Nacogdoches, TX 75961

    **Pay Rate:** $18.00/hour

    **Shift:** Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM CST | Some Saturdays Required

    **Overtime:** Yes

    **Union Site:** No

    **CDL Required:** No

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Transformer Assembler** to join our team for second shift operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for final assembly of electricity transformers, ensuring all components are installed correctly and meet quality standards.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Perform assembly operations across various work centers (Tank-up, casing, vacuum chamber, final assembly, etc.).

    + Attach/install components such as leads, bushings, brackets, switches, and nameplates.

    + Anchor core/coil assemblies with precision and care.

    + Use small hand and power tools to perform various assembly tasks.

    + Retrieve, assemble, and secure transformer covers.

    + Conduct inspections, temperature and fluid checks, and troubleshoot leak issues.

    + Operate the vacuum system safely and efficiently.

    + Read and follow work instructions, BOMs, production schedules, and documentation.

    + Rework nonconforming parts and maintain production quality.

    + Safely operate overhead cranes and hoisting equipment.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving.

    + Meet target production rates and maintain high work quality.

    + Maintain clean, organized work areas (5S+) and follow all company policies and safety procedures.

    Qualifications:

    + **Education:** No formal education required.

    + **Experience:** Prior manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.

    + **Skills:**

    + Ability to perform basic math

    + Attention to detail

    + Effective communication

    + Team player with a positive work ethic

    Physical & Environmental Requirements:

    + Lift up to 40 lbs.

    + Perform bending, twisting, pulling, reaching, and prolonged standing.

    + Tolerate hot environments and loud noise.

    + Wear required **PPE** at all times:

    + **Hands/Arms:** Gloves, Over-the-Elbow Sleeves

    + **Eyes/Face:** Safety Glasses

    + **Ears:** Ear Plugs

    + **Feet:** Steel-Toe Boots with Metatarsal Guards

    This is **not an ITAR or EAR** restricted position. However, if applying for future roles with export control implications, U.S. person status may be required.
