We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, organized self-starter for a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr TPM) role to lead complex programs focused on energy systems and infrastructure resiliency. The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional initiatives, manage technical roadmaps, and ensure successful delivery of mission-critical energy projects. This role requires someone who can bridge technical expertise with strong program management skills while working with diverse stakeholders including engineering teams, vendors, and executive leadership. Up to 25% travel required
Key job responsibilities
1. Lead large-scale technical programs related to power systems, backup generation, and energy infrastructure
2. Develop and maintain product roadmaps, program timelines, and resource planning
3. Drive cross-functional execution while managing dependencies, risks, and issues
4. Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on deliverables
5. Create and track program metrics, KPIs, and status reporting
6. Manage capital budgets and resource allocation across multiple projects
7. Facilitate technical design reviews and project governance meetings
8. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
9. Drive continuous improvement in program management processes
10. Lead white paper and cross functional reviews to gain consensus and leadership buy-in on plan, funding and program status

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
