Medical Assistant – Urology Clinic
Shift: Monday-Friday / 8:00am-4:30pm
Job Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will be a vital part of our clinical operations, supporting both patient care and administrative functions to ensure a seamless and compassionate healthcare experience. You’ll work closely with providers and nursing staff in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment where your contributions directly impact the health and well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities
+ Accurately document patient histories, symptoms, and vital signs in electronic medical records.
+ Answer incoming calls, providing timely follow-up and communication with patients.
+ Perform Point of Care (POC) testing and assist with specimen collection and processing.
+ Prepare exam rooms and efficiently room patients, ensuring comfort and readiness for provider visits.
+ Support clinical workflows by coordinating patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care.
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ Certified Medical Assistant (MA) with current credentials.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
+ Proven experience in a specialty practice (urology strongly preferred).
+ Proficient in measuring and recording blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and other vital signs.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
+ Ability to multitask and adapt in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
