    Quality Technician

    Pay Range: $18–$22 per hour Schedule:

    Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

     

    Job Type: Contract to Hire

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality

    Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for

    ensuring that products meet quality standards before being released to the

    warehouse. The technician will have the authority to make quality-related

     

    decisions, including placing products on hold and issuing nonconformities based

     

    on final product acceptance criteria.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Utilize specifications, acceptance limits, and sampling plans in accordance with established work instructions

    + Collaborate with production to improve product flow from packaging to warehouse

    + Approve finished products by verifying specifications, conducting barcode scans, and performing visual and measurement tests

    + Document inspection results, summarize rework and waste, and input data into quality databases or spreadsheets

    + Create quality spreadsheets for new product inspections as needed

    + Review and submit red-lined documents for process improvements

    + Maintain and calibrate measurement equipment, report issues for repair

    + Support implementation of Measure Fix within the Quality department

    + Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols

    + Participate in educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge

    + Provide backup support to other Quality Technicians as needed

    + Engage in departmental quality meetings and Lean initiatives

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required

    + 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field preferred

    + Experience in medical device manufacturing and familiarity with relevant regulations preferred

    + Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel strongly preferred

    + Strong visual and hand-eye coordination

    + Accurate color perception and attention to detail

    + Ability to stand, walk, sit, type, and communicate clearly

    + Capable of working independently and as part of a team

    + Comfortable with verbal and face-to-face interactions

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
