    Job Title: Wastewater Utility Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Wastewater Utility Engineer position with an investor-owned public utility operating a wastewater collection system servicing the City of Atlantic City.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and maintain wastewater collection systems.

    + Ensure efficient operation of wastewater pump systems.

    + Collaborate on projects involving sanitary sewer, stormwater, and municipal engineering.

    + Utilize AutoCAD for design and engineering tasks.

    + Participate in public works and water treatment projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

    + 3-5 years of experience in design and maintenance of wastewater collection systems.

    + Proficiency in wastewater engineering and mechanical design.

    + Knowledge of wastewater pump systems and O&M procedures.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with municipal engineering projects.

    + Understanding of stormwater and sanitary sewer systems.

    + Familiarity with AutoCAD and civil engineering design tools.

    Work Environment

    This position is full-time and onsite, Monday through Friday, with office hours generally from 9 AM to 4 PM, totaling 7-hour workdays. The position reports to the Vice President of Operations. Typical Compliances are required for employment.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Atlantic City, New Jersey.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

     

    Position is salaried with excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, group term life, short-term and long-term disability, pension, paid holidays and PTO. Salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Position is full-time and onsite, Monday through Friday and reports to the Vice President of Operations. A drug test and background check are required for employment.
