Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
Join our team as an Assembly Technician where you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of service vehicle equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance by diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
+ Document all work performed using appropriate software tools, including Microsoft Planner for tracking work orders.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and installations on company-owned and customer service vehicles.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
+ Utilize personal hand tools and power tools to complete repair and installation tasks efficiently.
+ Maintain a clean, organized work area while continuously seeking improvements in workflow and safety practices.
+ Inspect components to maximize parts reuse and minimize overall repair costs.
+ Monitor job expenses against repair estimates and proactively notify the supervisor of any potential cost overruns.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in using Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Teams, and Excel.
+ Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Knowledge of mechanical assembly and electrical repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with hydraulics.
+ Understanding of motor repairs.

Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled, clean, and organized open garage shop. No tobacco products are allowed on site. Personal protective equipment, such as steel-toed shoes and safety glasses, is provided, along with company uniforms. The role may involve physically demanding tasks, such as climbing ladders. You will be part of a tight-knit team of up to 10 employees, including office personnel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
