Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an assembler, you will be responsible for supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. You will apply job skills and company policies and procedures to complete various tasks. This role requires a working knowledge of product flow and the impact of quality, focusing on routine assignments where limited judgment is needed. You will receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments, operating within established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Arrive at the workstation daily and begin by reading the instructions for the specific job.

+ Perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet standards, documenting any defects as per the 'see something, say something' policy.

+ Utilize basic hand tools such as flat head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Philips screwdrivers.

+ Perform tasks that may require sitting or standing, depending on the job requirements for the day.

+ Assist in cross-training focus factory members as instructed.

Essential Skills

+ 6 months of manufacturing experience.

+ Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read and write effectively.

+ Understanding of production standards and assembly processes.

+ Computer skills for documentation purposes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanically inclined individuals from a manufacturing preferred.

+ Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift.

+ Capability to frequently reach at waist level and occasionally above the head.

+ Strength to carry up to 10lbs and lift up to 45lbs.

+ Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and stoop.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
