    Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    As a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, you will operate sit-down gas forklifts, and with further experience, you may also operate skid steers and balers. Your primary responsibilities include stacking and moving recycling materials, transporting materials throughout the facility, and emptying full containers. You will also perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate sit-down gas forklifts

    + Stack and move recycling materials

    + Transport materials throughout the facility.

    + Empty full containers.

    + Perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment.

    + Assist wherever needed within the facility.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-5 years of forklift operating experience.

    + Material handling and heavy equipment operation.

    + Ability to perform heavy lifting (50lbs+).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ year of small equipment operating experience.

    + Experience with skid steer and loader operations.

    Work Environment, Shift Hours, and Pay

     

    1st Shift: Monday-Friday, from 4:00am to 12:30pm ($21)

     

    2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, from 2:45 pm to 12am ($21+$1 shift premium)

    This is a position based out of Monona, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
