Security Installation Technician – Contract to Hire

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Security Installation Technician with experience in fire alarms, security systems, or other low-voltage installations. This role involves hands-on installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of systems in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

+ Install and maintain fire alarm and security systems.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

+ Assemble and wire systems according to specifications.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

+ Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, NEC, and other standards.

+ Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

+ Communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Qualifications

+ Experience in installation, construction, wiring, and troubleshooting.

+ Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

+ Familiarity with major brands (e.g., Honeywell, Bosch, DSC) is a plus.

+ Knowledge of NFPA codes and NEC standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $36.00/hr.
